Clearys Corner

Clearys Corner is a cosy cabin at the bottom of our property in Bream Creek that sits in the bush and looks out to sea. Here you can find total privacy and seclusion. Stay in or explore the bountiful area of Bream Creek and beyond. Our place is for 2-night-minimum, 14 day maximum stays. Two adults + one baby is the maximum capacity. Strictly no visitors or pets allowed. We approve all bookings to prevent booking clashes with other calendars. 10% discount for 7+ night stay. 

The cabin is constructed out of two 40ft shipping containers joined together and clad with timber. It features large windows and glass doors that take advantage of the surrounding bush and sea views. In addition, an expansive deck offering more room to move and enjoy the natural scenery. Inside, relax and indulge in a cosy bedroom with a queen sized bed, ceiling fan, wireless phone charging bedside lights, and a stunning view. Open up the space and access the bath directly from the bedroom by opening the large glass doors onto the deck and locking them into place. You can pretty much sleep under the stars if you leave the doors open on a mild night! Close the semi-blockout blinds for an even warmer, cosier vibe. Please note, we are located on the east coast, so sunrises are our thing. 

The open-plan living area is perfect for hanging out; warm up by the wood-heater, play some games, listen to a record, create some art, or watch some TV. You can connect your own music via Bluetooth to either our portable speakers or the record player. While our place has served as the perfect spot for a digital detox in the past, we know how many people manage businesses while travelling, so we now have Starlink Internet and can offer a strong, free WiFi to guests. Please note: As we live in an SOS only zone we must rely on mobile service boosters on our property to give us some reception for Telstra network users only. Reception is limited and at times, in and out. 

The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities and a little bit more. Breakfast is not included but can be added onto your booking after making a reservation, for an additional charge. Feel free to message us for more info about breakfast and allow at least 2 days before check-in for us to consider any requests. We supply every guest with a variety of teas from local business, Teaocracy, and coffee beans from South Roast Coffee on the Tasman Peninsula, as well as local full cream Bream Creek Dairy milk and milk alternatives, to enjoy. Check out our ammenities or message us for a complete list. Food and beverage requests are welcome after reservations are made; we'll do our best to fulfil them. 

We recommend bringing your own food supplies from Sorell, Murdunna or Orford, depending on the direction you're coming from. Dining out for lunch or dinner is a 15-25 minute drive away to Dunalley, Dodges Ferry, Lewisham or Sorell, respectively. See our Guide Book for more info. The bathroom includes a rainfall shower, flushing toilet and vanity with sink. Necessities are provided including ZeroCo shower and body care products, emergency hygiene products and fluffy towels, bath mat and robes. 

Our store room is multi-functional and serves as a space for guests to use as a bag drop, for getting dressed, reading, or a room for your baby to sleep. Porta-cot: Please message us if you are planning on bringing your baby. For an extra charge, we can set up the store room with porta-cot, toys, books, night light, and provide you with a wood-heater guard. 

Please note that the cabin is in a rural location and unsealed roads lead to it. This can affect car rental insurance. There is a separate, unsealed driveway for guests to use when entering the property. The road is accessible for 2WD vehicles. There is more than enough space for parking cars, turning around with a trailer and for large or mobility vehicles. The cabin area is gated, with two gates on either side of the building, to protect the garden from wildlife. We ask that guests keep these closed between dusk and dawn and whenever the property is vacated. The cabin is locked with a key and stored in a lockbox with a code. You will receive the code 24-48hrs before check-in. 

Guests can roam around the immediate bush area surrounding the cabin, taking care to heed any warning signs as the neighbouring bush property isn't fenced. We provide an aerial map within the cabin of where guests can and can't go on the property. 

Check-in is 2pm and check-out is 11am. Please let us know roughly what time you plan to arrive. During your stay if you need help with anything, you can text or call us, or message us online via AirBnB once you've connected to the cabin WiFi.
